Development & Schools

Welcome to the Development Team & Schools Hub 

We are a small but dedicated team committed to growing volleyball across Scotland. The Development Team leads on creating meaningful opportunities for young people, schools, students, clubs, and communities to get involved, stay involved, and progress within the sport. 

Our Head of Development oversees club support, governance, and sponsorship opportunities, and is the first point of contact for national-level development enquiries.

Our Development Officers can be contacted at development@scottishvolleyball.org and support two key areas of work: 

• Development Officer (Foundation): The primary contact for all school-based development, including the Young Ambassadors Programme, Scottish Schools Cup, teacher CPD, and helping schools build sustainable volleyball opportunities. 

• Development Officer (Community): Leads on everything beyond the school gates. From recreational volleyball and student programmes to sitting volleyball provision, community partnerships, and strengthening local pathways and participation.
