Scottish Volleyball’s oldest ongoing cup competition, the Scottish Student Volleyball Cup, may be 60 years old this year, but the talent on display was as fresh as ever in the recent semi-finals! The venue was the Sport and Active Health at the University of Dundee, which saw University of Strathclyde, Heriot-Watt University, University of Edinburgh, and the University of St Andrews prove their quality and became the first teams to qualify for a Scottish Student Volleyball Cup final at Scottish Volleyball’s Cup Finals Weekend. 
Scottish Volleyball, in partnership with Sportscotland, is seeking to recruit a Development Officer (Community) to deliver on the strategic plan “We Are Volleyball” throughout Scotland.
The full Board of Scottish Volleyball met this past Sunday, 23rd February 2025, for the Board’s Annual Development Day, which included a Board meeting.
Trustee(s) for this organisation provide governance and strategic oversight to Volleyball for Scotland, ensuring the charity fulfils its mission to promote and develop volleyball across Scotland.
Sunday evening saw the league split into two with the top half teams, minus league leaders Ace Holes playing each other and the bottom three also playing each other.
It was all to play for today as Scotland’s Senior National squads took on England yet again in the tournament decider.
With the arrival of 2025, it was also the arrival of the first ever 5 Nations Tournament, hosted by Volleyball England in the National Volleyball Centre in Kettering. Making the trip down were the Senior Men’s and Women’s Scotland squads, ably assisted by their coaching and statistician teams
