Scotland Win Rising Stars Challenge Series

Last weekend, Oriam hosted the Rising Stars Challenge Series between Scotland and Northern Ireland. The event offered the participating athletes the chance to compete in a series of 3 matches but also to develop their skills under the tutelage of FIVB instructor, Chris Kreuger.

Jamie Salvin Refereeing Netherlands Euro Beach Championships

Jamie Salvin, one of our highest level international beach referees, has recently been appointed to the Euro Beach Championships, held this year in the Hague in the Netherlands. Kicking off straight after the conclusion of the Paris Olympics, the draw for both the men and women’s competitions is full of the big names from the Beach Volleyball world, including number one seeds and gold medal winners Åhman and Hellvig.

Participation in Senior Scottish Volleyball League Increases for 2024-2025 Indoor Season!

With the SVL deadline passing for the 2024-2025 season, we are excited to have three new clubs joining the leagues this year, alongside three new teams from clubs already involved in the league! New to the league we have Stirling University, playing in Men’s Division Two, Glasgow Outdoor Volleyball Club, playing in Women’s Division Two, and returning to the SVL after a year’s break, Dundee University, playing in Men’s Division Two.
