This event doubles as the first round of European Championship qualifiers, making every match crucial for progression.
Scotland’s young beach athletes made a big impression this summer at the SCA Zonal U17 and U19 Beach Volleyball Championships, coming away with silver medals in both boys’ age groups and securing Main Draw qualification for the 2026 CEV U18 and U20 European Beach Championships.

The Under 18 Scotland Women’s squad have returned home following three challenging matches at the CEV Small Countries Association (SCA) U18 Championships in Malta, held from 10–13 April 2025.
It was all to play for today as Scotland’s Senior National squads took on England yet again in the tournament decider.
With the arrival of 2025, it was also the arrival of the first ever 5 Nations Tournament, hosted by Volleyball England in the National Volleyball Centre in Kettering. Making the trip down were the Senior Men’s and Women’s Scotland squads, ably assisted by their coaching and statistician teams
The national volleyball federations of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland and Gibraltar, along with the British Volleyball Federation (BVF), are delighted to announce the launch of a new international tournament.
Last weekend, Oriam hosted the Rising Stars Challenge Series between Scotland and Northern Ireland. The event offered the participating athletes the chance to compete in a series of 3 matches but also to develop their skills under the tutelage of FIVB instructor, Chris Kreuger.
