Scottish Volleyball is delighted to announce the selection of the Scotland U18 Women’s squad for the upcoming Small Countries Association (SCA) Championships, set to take place in Malta from 10-13 April 2025.
Sunday saw an excellent day of volleyball competition as Dundee University’s Sport and Active Health played host to the Tartan Talent Pathway (TTP) vs Scottish Student Sport (SSS) National Teams Quadrangular. Eight teams competed in a highly competitive event that showcased the depth of talent within Scottish student volleyball.
The Scottish Volleyball Cup and Plate semi-finals took place on March the 15th, 2025, at the sportscotland National Sports Training Centre Inverclyde in Largs, showcasing thrilling matches that set the stage for an exciting Cup Finals Weekend.
Following on from our exciting announcement this morning of our new structure for Performance and Coaching within Scottish Volleyball, we are pleased to share the job description for Scotland Beach Head Coach. Working closely with Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), Scottish Volleyball have restructured the FIVB Empowerment support to hire a Beach Head Coach to focus on coaching performance and development athletes.

Scottish Volleyball’s oldest ongoing cup competition, the Scottish Student Volleyball Cup, may be 60 years old this year, but the talent on display was as fresh as ever in the recent semi-finals! The venue was the Sport and Active Health at the University of Dundee, which saw University of Strathclyde, Heriot-Watt University, University of Edinburgh, and the University of St Andrews prove their quality and became the first teams to qualify for a Scottish Student Volleyball Cup final at Scottish Volleyball’s Cup Finals Weekend.
Scottish Volleyball, in partnership with Sportscotland, is seeking to recruit a Development Officer (Community) to deliver on the strategic plan “We Are Volleyball” throughout Scotland.
The full Board of Scottish Volleyball met this past Sunday, 23rd February 2025, for the Board’s Annual Development Day, which included a Board meeting.
