Key Details

Why a Residential Camp?

Residential performance camps provide a unique environment where athletes can immerse themselves fully in their development. Training, recovery, and learning all happen within one setting, allowing athletes to maximise the benefits of every session while building strong connections with peers and coaches.

For Scottish Volleyball, this camp represents a key objective of the Performance and Coaching Hub – to raise the standard of pathway athletes by providing them with the tools, knowledge, and experiences needed to compete at higher levels.

From Pathway to Performance

Speaking about the launch of the camp, Ally Jack, Head of Performance and Coaching at Scottish Volleyball, said:

“We’ve seen the impact that residential performance camps can have on athletes. In previous years, players who engaged in similar programmes made the leap from age-group squads to senior national teams within just 12 months. The intensity, focus, and quality of these environments are proven to accelerate development – and we’re confident this camp will provide the same opportunities for our Tartan Talent athletes.”
