Scottish Volleyball is excited to announce our second official sponsor ahead of the U20 Men’s European Championship.
As the world transitions towards a ‘net zero carbon’ future, it will be critical to not only maximise renewable energy generation but also to maximise the benefits through energy storage. Based in Scotland, Akku Energy design, plan and develop grid connected large-scale battery energy storage systems that retain the electricity generated by renewable energy assets and export into the National Grid at times of demand.
Captain of the U20 Men’s National Team, Ewan Ramsay, had this to say: “On behalf of all the players and their families, I would like to put on record our thanks to AKKU for their generous donation towards our European Championships participation.
