Scottish Volleyball announces new partnership
with TiebreackTech
Scottish Volleyball are delighted to announce an innovative partnership with Italian Volleyball Technology company TieBreakTech. Founded in 2010 by volleyball people for volleyball people their mission was simply develop high-tech products that are easy and intuitive to use for professionals and amateurs alike. The company has grown year on year and counts the Italian Women Serie A and Italian Volleyball Federation as current clients. Despite its growth the founder and CEO Edoardo Francesconi has always been keen to help smaller community clubs and understands the struggles they face around lack of resources, access to internet and having trained volunteers. In fact, it is the firsthand knowledge of being involved in local volleyball that helped him design and develop a straightforward intuitive volleyball E-score system that does not rely on live internet signal.
The initial partnership will see our show piece end of season event, Cup Finals Weekend 2026 using the TBT Scoresheet across all 12 finals over three days. This system will see tablets being used by benches and referees for the first time in our domestic events. To enable this, we have arranged for some free online training for interested parties prior to the cup finals and some in person training on Thursday 16th April just prior to the big weekend.
It is our hope and intention that we can continue this partnership into the new SVL 26/27 season so we would encourage representation from as many clubs as possible to view, use and feedback on the system.
Edoardo Francesconi “We are very excited to be working alongside Scottish Volleyball to deliver their Cup Finals in Edinburgh next month. It has been great to learn more about the game in Scotland from Blair and I firmly believe we can support the growth and development of the domestic game by using our suite of technologies moving forward”
Scottish Volleyball Head of Development Blair Pettigrew added “Working on a solution to use a digital scoring platform has been high on Scottish Volleyball’s agenda for some time. Speaking to Edoardo we knew from the offset his product would be a great fit for our clubs and we are delighted to be welcoming him over to Edinburgh for our Cup Finals to showcase the product. We hope our membership takes up the opportunity for free training and will take the time to see it in action at the Pleasance next month”
