Scottish Volleyball is starting the process of our membership and stakeholder consultation ahead of the creation of our new Strategic Plan, which will come into effect in 2027 and see the sport through to 2031.
This consultation is vital to allow us to shape the direction of all aspects of our sport in Scotland and ensure that members’ views and opinions are at the very heart of the new plan.
The process will be separated into phases and commence with a survey, followed by a series of local engagement sessions which will be open to all, online and in-person focus groups and invited one to one meetings. It is especially important to us all that you have an opportunity for your voice to be heard and help us shape a Strategic Plan that accurately reflects the views of the people it will affect most. This process will be managed by our Head of Development and supported by the CEO, members of the SV Board and staff.
The consultation will cover all aspects of our delivery, including National Teams, Domestic Competitions and Community Volleyball, as well as the key areas in how we operate as a National Governing Body. For example, how we communicate with the membership, what competitive outlets we offer and how we fund our activities.
