Scottish Volleyball is pleased to announce the launch of its 2025–26 programme of Development Coach Award courses for both Indoor and Beach Volleyball. With a range of dates confirmed across Scotland and financial support available through sportscotland and Scottish Volleyball, this season presents a valuable opportunity for new and aspiring coaches to begin their coaching journey.

This programme forms part of Scottish Volleyball’s ongoing commitment to growing and diversifying the coaching workforce, while strengthening the foundations of the sport at all levels.

Subsidy Support to Broaden Access to Coaching

Through funding support from sportscotland, alongside investment from Scottish Volleyball, a limited number of heavily subsidised places are available:

This support is designed to reduce financial barriers and increase the number of qualified coaches across Scotland, particularly from underrepresented groups. Head of Performance and Coaching, Ally Jack, commented, “Developing our coaching workforce is essential to the long-term success of volleyball in Scotland. These courses not only equip new coaches with the skills to support players at all levels but also help us build a more inclusive and sustainable future for the sport. I strongly encourage anyone with a passion for volleyball to get involved.”
