Scottish Volleyball’s highly anticipated Cup Finals Weekend kicks off this Thursday at the Pleasance Sports Complex in Edinburgh. Spanning four action-packed days, the event will showcase the nation’s top volleyball talent across schools, student, and senior levels. We’re especially excited to have the backing of Edinburgh Council for this event, and are looking forward to showcasing our new partnership with IBB-LED through their LED branding boards.

The competition begins with the Schools Cup Finals and the Legends Matches, with the student up first before our men’s Legends teams take to the court after. Friday is dedicated to student competitions, with the men’s final at 1:00 PM and the women’s final at 3:00 PM. Notably, the University of Strathclyde and Heriot-Watt University will contest the men’s final, while the University of Edinburgh faces the University of St Andrews in the women’s final. The day concludes with the Balltime AI All-Stars match, an exciting update of last year’s HUDL match.

Saturday’s schedule includes the Scottish Plate and the Scottish Cup Finals. Lenzie face off against Volleyball Aberdeen Vortex, while St Andrews University are back for their second match of the weekend against Women’s League One winners Su Ragazzi 2. City of Edinburgh face off against City of Glasgow Ragazzi in the Men’s Cup Finals, before we finish the day with Glasgow Mets against City of Edinburgh in the Women’s Cup. The weekend wraps up on Sunday with the U16 and U18 Cup Finals, with teams from NUVOC, Caledonia West, City of Edinburgh and Dundee Anchor all competing.

For those unable to attend in person, matches will be streamed live on Scottish Volleyball’s social media channels and YouTube. Tickets are stil available though, and you can buy them here: https://fixr.co/event/cup-finals-weekend-2025-tickets-172693040/tickets
