Scottish Volleyball is delighted to announce the selection of the Scotland U18 Women’s squad for the upcoming Small Countries Association (SCA) Championships, set to take place in Malta from 10-13 April 2025.
The squad will face San Marino and Northern Ireland in the group stages before progressing to the knockout rounds as they compete against Europe’s emerging volleyball nations.
This selection highlights the continued development of young volleyball talent across Scotland through the Tartan Talent Pathway, with players representing a range of clubs from across the country. The team will now enter a final preparation phase ahead of the tournament, as they look to make their mark on the international stage.
Head of Performance and Coaching Ally Jack expressed his excitement for the competition, stating: “The selection of this squad is a testament to the dedication and hard work of these young athletes and their coaches. Competing in the SCA Championships is a fantastic opportunity for them to gain international experience and showcase the talent coming through our Tartan Talent Pathway. We are confident they will represent Scotland with pride and determination in Malta.”
Scottish Volleyball wishes the team the best of luck in their preparations and will provide updates throughout their journey at the SCA Championships. Stay tuned to our social media channels and website for the latest news on the squad’s progress!
