Scottish Volleyball are delighted to announce a coach education opportunity during the upcoming Small Countries Association Zonal Finals!
Hai-Binh Ly, the volleyball analyst, will be supporting coaches to develop their understanding in the analysis of key match statistics. Hai-Binh is a very experienced statistician both indoor and on the beach, working at European level with both club and national teams.
The first session will be delivered online where Hai-Binh will discuss the use of statistics, the DataVolley match report, and how the information can be used effectively. During the final day of the SCA event, the coaching group will be presented with statistics from the initial 2 days of the tournament and discuss potential match plans for the Scotland team later that day. These will then be discussed with Hai-Binh and National Team coaching staff prior to the final day’s matches. Coaches from all levels are welcome, with no previous statistics experience required – support will be given where necessary.
The course costs £20 to Scottish Volleyball Tier 1 members and includes tea/coffee and a ticket to the afternoons matches.
