It is with regret that all fixtures due to be played this coming weekend are being cancelled by the Scottish Volleyball Association.
AS CEO I took the decision today based on the interest of safety of all members, clubs and officials who have to travel to home and away venues.
I am also aware of the fact that many of the Volleyball venues across the country are closed for the weekend due to the weather with many Local Authorities advising not to travel unless it is essential.
Keeping all this in mind I hope you agree that this has been in the best interest of you and for Scottish Volleyball.
The Competitions Commission notified all NL and JNL Club Administrators by mail 1st December 2010 of these postponements.
Further details of rearranged dates have been notified to your Club Administrator
Further advice will be given if the bad weather continues into next week’s fixture schedule through email, the SVA Blog and Website.
I would like to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this will cause you and your club.
