The coaching landscape in Scotland is changing. Several years ago Scottish Volleyball opted out of the UKCC awarding body and developed our own qualification framework.
From March 2020, sportscotland are also opting out of the UKCC awards. A new coaching qualifications framework is being developed by sportscotland. This ties in with the recommendation by the Coaches Commission to introduce a licence scheme within our Association.
The licence will replace the current registration and will have impact on those coaching in their Clubs.
The changes and impact will be discussed on Wednesday 20 November in The Ally McCoist Sports Centre, Quarry Road, East Kilbride G75 9LW from 7.00pm. There will be another opportunity to attend a meeting in December in the east of the country.
