It’s that time of the year again, when the Coach of the Year Award is 
decided.
There are two categories of Award:
• Coach of a Female Team
• Coach of Male Team
The nomination process will consider those who are coaching at ALL LEVELS of competition in Scotland and who hold an SVA Coach Registration for season 2015-2016. The award process has been changed and simplified for this year.
The Coaching Panel will select 5 coaches in each category after reviewing the following parameters.
1) Time invested into actively coaching-how many hours per week is the coach dedicating on ‘face to face’ coaching (20%)
2) Time invested into personal Development – demonstrating an active willingness to improve as a coach (e.g. attending SVA Coaching CPD opportunities). (30%)
3) Performance – achieving success at any playing level i.e. Schools, JNL, Senior National league (30%)
4) Player Development – demonstrating success at improving player performance at any age level (20%)
The Coaches Commission will identify the coach of the year after consultation with this panel.
