After almost a year in charge of the Men’s Young Senior National 
Team Progamme, Iain Parker has stepped down as Headcoach. We are very sad to see Iain go from the national team programme, but thank him for his significant contribution. Iain, of course, will continue to coach his Division 1 South Ayrshire side.
With the season almost upon us, we have agreed to make an interim appointment, in order to ensure that the work of the Young Senior Men’s programme is not unnecessarily delayed. Former Senior Men’s Heach Coach, Thomas Dowens, with support from Dundee’s John Scrimgeour will take on the role of driving the Young Senior Men’s programme through to June 2012.
Any coaches, managers or other support personnel looking for voluntary development opportunities with the national team programmes should contact info@scottishvolleyball.org, in the first instance. A recruitment search, to find staff to lead the Young Senior men’s programme through the subsequent two years, will begin in Spring 2012.
