A Twilight In-service Course
on Developing Volleyball
The course is aimed at Physical Education specialists and helps demonstrate how volleyball can help deliver elements of the curriculum for excellence.
|Where will it be held?||Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena|
|What dates?||Tuesdays 7th, 14th and 21st September 2010|
|What time?||4.00 – 6.00pm on each of the days|
Developing understanding of, and performance ability in volleyball, through exploring movement principles.
- Introducing the game and using progressive practice to develop basic passing ability
- Introducing and developing the game sequence and tactics
- Developing co-operative practices and cognitive skills
Cost? The course is being fully subsidised by Glasgow City Council
