A Twilight In-service Course
on Developing Volleyball

The course is aimed at Physical Education specialists and helps demonstrate how volleyball can help deliver elements of the curriculum for excellence.

Where will it be held?      Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena
What dates? Tuesdays 7th, 14th and 21st September 2010
What time? 4.00 – 6.00pm on each of the days

Programme overview    

Developing understanding of, and performance ability in volleyball, through exploring movement principles. 

Programme objectives    

  • Introducing the game and using progressive practice to develop basic passing ability
  • Introducing and developing the game sequence and tactics
  • Developing co-operative practices and cognitive skills

Cost?        The course is being fully subsidised by Glasgow City Council
