The United Kingdom Coaching Certificate (UKCC) programme is the new ‘industry standard’ model for coach education. The first Scottish UKCC course was successfully held at Inverclyde National Sports Centre in July, and subsequently the programme is in it’s roll out phase across the length and breadth of Scotland.
We have already staged courses in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Dundee, The next course will be in Aberdeen on the 6th, 7th and 14th of February 2010. This will be followed by a second course in Edinburgh in March. Further details on these forthcoming courses will be posted on the SVA website soon.
In the meantime the feedback so far, from all concerned, has been that the Scottish UKCC course is interesting, demanding, appropriate, fun, and challenging.
