The Top Team’s Cup is in its third season, and this year it has expanded. The finals will be on Sunday 14th December at the Wishaw Sports Centre, and it will be a celebration of the best of Scottish Volleyball as the teams play semi’s in the morning then the finals in the afternoon.
The FBS for games 1 and 2, the women’s semi finals, is 10.00.
The FBS for games 3 and 4, the men’s semi finals, is 12.30
In the women’s event Troon P&A are rampaging through the Schelde Sports National League and are favourites to beat old rivals Su Ragazzi in match 1. Meanwhile Team Edinburgh with Mel Coutts in great form face Tom Rooney’s NLVC in what could be a close match.
In the men’s competition Barry Robertson leads Glasgow Mets into their semi against the in-form Dundee – on paper this could be the best match of the day….. while surprise package City of Edinburgh, who are playing some great stuff, and lined up against City of Glasgow Ragazzi who are struggling to find consistency. Will experience count in this game?
The FBS for game 5, the women’s final, is 15.00.
The FBS for games 6, the men’s semi finals, is 18.00
